A survey conducted by the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization confirmed improvements in terms of both production and sales following the adoption of JGAP.
- More than 30% of farms experienced improved sales due to factors such as expanded net sales and sales channels.
- 45% of farms achieved quality improvements, with per-unit yields improving at 30% of farms.
- 54% of farms reduced bad inventory of materials, while 37% of farms achieved lower production costs.
- 47% of farms reported improvements in the ease of developing plans. 40% of farms reduced missing parts and inventory. Work delays were improved at nearly 30% of farms.
- Roughly 70% of farms reported improvements to employees’ sense of responsibility and autonomy, with 56% responding that communication between employees had improved.
