ASIAGAP's Farm Management

Example of Farm Management

Let's explore the contents of ASIAGAP and learn how ASIAGAP stipulates a requirement to the agricultural management.

Control Points and Compliance Criteria(CPCC)

"The control points and compliance criteria" (CPCC) is the document which are essential requirements to comply with ASIAGAP certificate program. During an audit, reviews are performed for that farm's implementations are in conformity with these CPCCs.

Control Points and Compliance Criteria of ASIAGAP consists of the following 4 items.

  1. Basic farm management
  2. Management of resources
  3. Cultivation process management
  4. CPCCs for the specific items only

This is an example of CPCCs. The practices in agriculture which farms must implement in terms of GAP are described in this document. For receiving a certificate, a farm must comply with 100% of the major items and at least 85% of the minor items.
If the CPCCs conformity rate are not met during an audit, the non-compliance items shall be corrected and submitted to the certification body, after which the certification body will be issued if the results are deemed compliant.
